Typefully is fantastic and way too cheap for what you get.
We’ve tried many alternatives at @framer but nothing beats it. If you’re still tweeting from Twitter you’re wasting time.

pNFTs are complex, let's simplify them:
Here are the biggest misconceptions about and opportunities for pNFTs
{@y00tsNFT 33.3% PHBT had me deep diving}
🧵👇
1/10
{Historical Context}
Social contract theory = an unspoken agreement that establishes rules of behavior.
Projects (@DeGodsNFT@SolanaMBS) have historically determined royalties what %'s would be - than the marketplaces @MagicEden would honor that request.
social contract ^
{Broken Contract}
In early 2022 the race to zero fees started, the centralized exchanges broke the social contract and started charging 0% royalties, which were collection's lifeblood.
To this point, collections had no control over where NFTs where listed.
Enter @metaplex👇
{pNFTs}
Metaplex developed a technology (new NFT standard), that would allow collection owners to enforce royalties.
The way it works is a bit roundabout - essentially collections have the right to choose where their NFTs are listed & not (permissioned vs revoked).
👇👇
{Example}
So if @YawwwNFT decided to go to 0% royalties, then the core @oogyNFT team could decide to deactivate Yawww's ability to list oogy NFTs in minutes.
Essentially adding a penalty for marketplaces that go against the requirements of owners.

{what do pNFTs do}
1. Maximize compatibility with ecosystem programs
2. Enable stricter royalties enforcement (based on an allow-list), 3. Or create their own allow or deny list
but Royalties enforcement comes with trade-offs, it can’t be reversed once done.
{current example}
DeGods are enforcing a 33.3% tax (4/3) on anyone who doesn't bridge.
If the exchanges don't enforce the tax then @frankdegods can revoke (delist) y00ts from being traded on said platform.

{Conclusion}
pNFTs somewhat restore the social contract that was broken, but in reality it also gives substantially more power to project founders (which isn't a bad thing, just an observation/outcome).
