Days where my mind is shooting ideas at me, I create new drafts in Typefully noting down the basic idea

Small notes remember context

2️⃣ Leveraging Templates

Now that my ideas are stored, I want to be able to quickly insert them into quality tweets with minimal hassle.

Here's where two key features come in:

• Pinned Drafts

For all my threads, I have a pinned template, which I duplicate.

Why do I do this?

Because I want to maximize time spent on the work that matters:

→ Research, writing style, evidence

Not having to re-write templates saves me hours.

Why waste time re-writing a template for threads that both myself and my audience are happy with?

3️⃣ Writing

When you actually start writing, you want to make use of shortcuts as much as possible.

Common ones:

• CTRL + Enter = New tweet

• : = find your emoji 🍄

The more practice you get, the quicker Typefully will allow you to carve out threads with free hand.

4️⃣ Queuing

With great content in hand, it's time to make use of queuing so you are not a slave to the platform.

By hitting schedule below any post, you can decide to schedule your post for whatever fits best.

I schedule almost all my posts to avoid panic posting.

Typefully will also recommend optimum times based on your analytics

The longer you've used it, the better they become

As you can see below, I can visually see each hours average engagement, offering me complete control over my schedule

Don't post your best content at bad hours

Your queued posts are shown in a chronological order ↓

Recently, drag and drop queueing has been added, which is a neat feature.

Now that the post is out, there are still actions you can take to improve it's metrics.

These are:

• Auto-Retweet: Tell Typefully when to RT your post, at one or multiple intervals

• Auto-plug: Reply to your post when certain metrics are met (RT, Like)

Recently, my go to options have been to:

• RT any thread 12 hours after it's posted (opposite timezone)
                          &
 • plug my master thread at X amount of likes

This enables me to focus on my writing, knowing automation has my good Twitter practices in check.

6️⃣ Analytics

Lastly, you'll want to see how well your account, or individual tweets, are performing.

The tangible platform encompasses more than their stablecoin.

They are a TNFT marketplace creating redeemable NFTs for physical products.

Items range from Wine to houses.

There is a simple marketplace fee which provides yield, but that's not the main source ⬇️

$USDRs yield comes from rented properties. (Each property their own TNFT)

Properties are fractionalized so retail investors can earn a % of the properties yield.

The transparency about fees + yield is a great start.

The main way $USDR is minted is through $DAI, a popular decentralized stablecoin @MakerDAO.

By having a mix of real estate, other stablecoins and their own volatile assets, you have a safer peg for your own stablecoin.



3️⃣  Yield Generation

So how is yield generated through $USDR?

To become eligible for yield, users must stake their $USDR in return for uUSDR.

Yield is distributed daily, so USDR can be staked or unstaked instantly. (No lockup)

Yield rewards are based on the collateralisation ratio.

The aim of @tangibleDAO is for $USDR to be over-collateralised

This means:

Backing > $USDR Market cap

Remember: Stablecoins marketcap is the same as it's circulating supply

$USDR planned yield is:

• 4.5% (Static)
• 8.5 % Property yield 

Their team have stated that 4.5% won't gain traction, so they will subsidize yield % through $TNGBL until $500m - $1bn mcap.

As a crypto investor, you shouldn't expect high yields for the first 1-5 years.

However, $TNGBL has it's own utility + revenue stream, which makes it a great choice.

As property TNFTs increase, internal subsidization will decrease.

The aim: Get collateralisation above 130%

Why?

After 130%, any increase is instantly added to the daily rebase, ultimately benefiting the $USDR staker.

Over collateralisation means:
• Instant redemptions
• Higher yield
• Sustainable protocol


4️⃣  Personal Conviction

I love the current yield narrative we are in, but locking up capital for 1-5 years is tough.

$USDRs no lockup is a huge plus.

One thing I'd love to see them do is:

Create a 'litepaper' in layman terms.

For people to invest, they MUST understand

Six months ago, I was delivering food by bike, earning $1,000 a month.

I was in a rut, so I went all in and left the UK for Portugal.

Six months later, I now work full-time in crypto and have 5x my income and network.

Here's my story, and how you can do the same 🧵 ↓ 

I never had a plan growing up, and that didn't change in university. 

After I graduated, I had no idea what to do.

I was working for Deliveroo and Uber.

Each day was spent:

• Regretting my choices
• Struggling for money
• Uninspired

I'm sure some of you can relate 😔 

I thought I was depressed, but in reality, it was just my environment.

I needed challenge and inspiration, but hated the thought of an office job.

I always enjoyed writing, but had never earnt $$$ from it.

So how did I make that leap, and what changed? 

Five Steps ⬇️ 

1️⃣ Take a step back

I had to take a step back from that life to realize what was happening and my potential if I changed.

My lack of motivation was driven by:
♦️ Drugs
♦️ Comfort
♦️ Environment
♦️ Friends

I had to reflect to realize this.

Brutal honesty is tough.

Do this yourself.

Grab a pen and paper and write down:

• What you spend your time on

• Who you spend your time with

• How this makes you feel

If you're unhappy with your current situation, it will show.

20 minutes of self-reflection could save you 20 years.

2️⃣ Humble yourself

In February, right before I moved, I made my upwork account.

I had zero experience and zero knowledge.

I was an 'expert' at delivering food, but a novice at writing.

Once you accept this, you can truly begin to build.

Pay is also a large factor.

However, most web3 workers don't actually earn that much.

Experience is everything, so get that first positive review

Then think about increasing your rate.

I got paid $7.5 for my first article, way under my previous salary, but I had my review!

3️⃣ What's your value add?

To get what I wanted, I needed to appeal to others. 

I realized my proposal was key.

I mastered my proposal, and the clients came flying in.

I came across hungry to help them, not myself.

4️⃣ Grit

It took over 100 proposals for anyone to respond back. 

It was killing my motivation, but that's where grit steps in. 

Change is hard, but I wasn't ready to go back to my old life.

I made less money with more work, but I saw the long-term vision.

Regardless of privilege, opportunity or ability, grit is what separates the good from the great.

I never thought I had it, but really I just never allowed myself to have it.

My life was full of:
♦️ Comfort
♦️ Easy wins
♦️ Dopamine

My grit was hidden in this comfort.

5️⃣ Allow it to happen

As cringe as it may sound, great change can only happen if you allow it to

You've recognized you can achieve great things, so allow it to happen, plant that seed

Opportunities, connections, and money will follow

This is the most important rule by far

You'll still have to do the work.

It'll just be glass half full, not empty. 

You'll see potential in yourself like you never have before.

Placebo is the most potent drug we have. 

Self-acceptance is placebo for the mind 🧠

The harsh reality is, no one is approaching you for work here.

So why spend all your time on it?

Although a Twitter brand sounds great, it's months or years of hard work before you realize any profits.

Instead, start on:

・ Upwork
・ Fiverr
・ Contently
・ Clearvoice

Why?

It's easier to find clients where they're looking. 

2️⃣ Focus on experience

Stop hunting the highest $/word.

Instead, hunt the experience that can justify that price.

Published on x,y,z sites? That's value.

Not only is it humbling, it's fuel for the fire.

3️⃣ Proposal is everything

Your first contact is everything. 

How can you bring them value? What's your USP?

Do you sound interested at all, or is your proposal too long?
