Dude, you aren't maximizing your WR. Last week, I asked poker players for hands which I can validate w/ my MDA. Here are 7 mistakes that people do which cost they money.
1. Folds too much. This is especially true in the late positions, where the ranges are widest. 2. Not raise enough OTR. Remember: you've got 3 buttons too play, not only call and fold. For an example of when you can exploit over folds vs raise go here: twitter.com/2660241277/status/1583458895770832897
3. Wrong bet size scheme. Some boards require you to bet at least twice to fold a better hand. Then it's worth knowing which size to use on which street to maximize FEQ and minimize risk. A great example of how you can accomplish the same thing w/o hurting yourself is here: twitter.com/2660241277/status/1583064479830401029
4. Not considering the kicker. When you bluff catch remember your kicker, it should not block villain bluffs. 5. Not knowing the tendencies of players. Often you have to deal with the situation in which 🤖 requires you to call, but in reality it's a fold. Check here: twitter.com/2660241277/status/1582734129057046528
6. Not knowing the code red boards. There are boards where people hugely under-bluff, and where you can easily fold your top 2 pair. twitter.com/2660241277/status/1582703670428565504
7. Not having clear decision process. It's important for every poker player to have a blueprint which it can be used in tough spots. If you want to eliminate uncertainty in your decision process when bluff-catching, use the blueprint below based on MDA: twitter.com/2660241277/status/1582757303345782784
Tl;DR: 7 mistakes poker players do: 1. Folds too much. 2. Not raise enough OTR. 3. Wrong bet size scheme. 4. Not considering the kicker. 5. Not knowing the tendencies. 6. Not knowing the code red boards. 7. Not having clear decision process.
