How to setup Ghost CMS using Docker?

1️⃣ Use Ubuntu version 16.04,  18.04 or  20.04. Ghost installation requires a non root user with sudo privileges 🥋 and upgrade packages. 🔄

3️⃣ Install MySQL and set root password.

4️⃣ Install a supported version of Node.js.

6️⃣ Create a directory for your blog, set necessary permissions(set current user as owner and permission as 775) ✔ , install ghost in that directory.

This is why I use a VPN 😅

Okay, let's start with the fact that I am scared.😨 I am afraid to put resources on the cloud ☁️ and go to sleep.😴 I don't know why, but that's me. As a remedy, I had this idea in my head.💡

I use AWS, and for EC2 we have security groups in AWS. I've always wondered how I could apply this to my situation. Every time I use a device, its IP is added to the security group (which I still don't know how to do),

As a result, I can access the resource without concern of exposing it to the entire world. But I didn't know how to put it into practise. As a result, I was looking for a convenient solution. Then, I recently learned about @Tailscale .

Tailscale is a VPN. But the possibilities are limitless. This is how I am using Tailscale now,
▶  I've got a Raspberry Pi with Pi-Hole and some self-hosted services installed.
▶  Then there's an EC2 instance on AWS with self-hosted resources, which includes a Pi-Hole.

▶  My Pi and EC2 are both part of the Tailscale network, allowing me to access them from any device without exposing them to the internet.
▶  Both of these Pi-Holes are set up as DNS servers for all of the devices in my VPN.

This allows me to access my Raspberry Pi from any location and I can easily share them with my friends.

I've now self-hosted a few services that I can only use. It isn't particularly good, but it is entertaining. 😄
