Typefully is fantastic and way too cheap for what you get.
We’ve tried many alternatives at @framer but nothing beats it. If you’re still tweeting from Twitter you’re wasting time.

I compiled a list of the best resources for cybersecurity operators, investors, and beginners getting into the space.
One of the most frequently asked questions I get:
"Francis, what are the best resources for learning cybersecurity fast?"
Here is a list that has worked for me:
Company blogs are some of the best resources for learning about a new technical or cybersecurity topic (in simple grammar!).
- Cloudflare has one of the best, in my opinion
- Crowdstrike does a good job too
- Palo Alto Networks next
Eg Google; "What is SASE? - Cloudflare blog"
Company YouTube videos and demos:
These companies equally have lots of informative webinars / company demos and introductory video.
Just Google - "What is endpoint security? Crowdstrike"
Can't recommend enough!
SANS Offensive Operations
One of the major thought leaders in cyber.
They provide cybersecurity videos that go into key cybersecurity concepts like cloud security and discuss important cybersecurity topics.
sans.org/offensive-operations/
For example:
Here is a FREE SANS cloud security deep-dive that explains the concept in introductory concepts!
Download a free copy here: lnkd.in/geiTztA4
List of other educational resources:
1) Professor Messer: A guide on certifications.
2) Cyberspatial: Cybersecurity education and training.
3) Nahamsec: Educational hacking and bug bounty videos.
4) Computerphile: Basic concepts and techniques.
5) PortSwigger General learning.
Technical operator resource:
1) Simply Cyber (career)
2) David Bombal: Everything cyber (popular)
3) The Hated One / Cyber CDH: Cybersecurity tools & tactics
5) Network Chuck: Cybersecurity networking
6) Hak5: Learning new cyber-attack vectors
7) Black Hills Information security
The next five resources I share below are hand-selected top resources of mine that I've engaged with closely and that I visit regularly
1) Google’s Foundations in Cybersecurity
Recently took this one and I highly recommend it!
They provide a Linux environment, but if you don't do any hacking, there are great theoretical concepts.
coursera.org/learn/foundations-of-cybersecurity
2) Security Weekly:
They have an active website + Youtube.
Website is a great resource for the latest & hottest news in cybersecurity. securityweek.com/
YouTube has great interviews with cybersecurity founders and operators. This is a good one.
youtube.com/@SecurityWeekly/videos
3) John Hammond is one of the most popular cybersecurity names / popular channels
John shares a mix of technical cybersecurity concepts, interviews smart operators & general cybersecurity information.
Don't as much time, but when needed, this is a go-to
youtube.com/@_JohnHammond/videos
5) Gem list of beginner cybersecurity courses/certifications:
• Stanford online intro to cybersecurity
• Open security training
• SANS cyber training
• SANs cyber aces
• Simplilearn Intro to cyber
• Cybrary entry-level course
• Hack The Box - Cybersecurity trainings.
The process of learning is messy, but that's what is required to learn!
This thread covers a wide variety of topics, but if you're an operator or beginner (who wants to understand the space deeply), these will help!
Feel free to ask any q's / share as needed. Ty!
