Introducing my joining to Contrary

I'm excited to share that I've joined @contrarycapital to build out our research arm! Today, we're pleased to launch @Contrary_Res, a platform for finding high-quality research on private tech companies: 1/10

2/ Today, we've published over 25+ company memos and deep-dive analyses into the following companies below! Let me explain the context behind our platform and the why:

3/ One of the biggest challenges w/ the private market is a lack of access to data. Today, there are few platforms that people can point to for finding analysis into these companies. The vision for @Contrary_Res is to be the starting point to understanding any private company.

4/ We write about companies from consumer and enterprise tech to crypto and hardware tech. Our content is structured into: 1) Light memos: This is a concise yet introductory write-up of a company. 2) Deep dives: In-depth analysis and exploration of an industry or company.

5/ Over time, @Contrary_Res will grow to include perspectives on hundreds of private companies that will be released bi-weekly. The best part is that this platform will be FREE forever! 7/ I want to take a min to give credit to @kwharrison13 specifically! It ws over many months ago; he invited me to his backyard in SF, we drew paper + pen brainstorming this idea. Kyle has played a significant role in enabling us to build this platform and deserves a key credit!

8/ As for my personal Twitter, I'll continue to share research on public software cos, though not as similar to past cadence. Over the past few months, I've promised a number of deep-dive reports too. So, I'm excited to share many will be released starting with a BIG one tmrw!

9/ If you've followed my Twitter for some time, you knw I chose the "Analyst" name bcos I'm striving to become a better investor, and now w/ @contrarycapital I also work w/ our late-stage growth team @kwharrison13 + @megankao_ My focus is broadly SaaS: Security, AI/ML + DevOps.
