✅️ Altcoins

The term “altcoin” is shorthand for “alternative coins” and simply means cryptocurrencies other than Bitcoin. Some popular altcoins are 
🪙 Ethereum
🪙 XRP
🪙 Tether
🪙 Cardano
🪙 Polkadot

✅️ Fiat

All kinds of money that are made legal tender by a government decree or fiat . To be more simple Fiat money is just tje currency we use it daily such as USD , INR , AUD etc.,

✅️ Gas fees

When you make a transaction on the blockchain, you have to pay a fee called a gas price. You are basically paying a miner to go out and receive crypto for you. You can choose to pay higher fees for faster transaction , or lower fees for slower transaction .

✅️ Whales

A whale is the term used for the most valuable Bitcoin addresses. There are about 2000 Bitcoin whale addresses, and only three own more than 100,000 BTC.

✅️ Smart Contracts

They are simply programs stored on a blockchain that run when predetermined conditions are met. They are used to automate the execution of an agreement so that all participants can be immediately certain of the outcome, without any intermediary's involvement

→ Fresh is a Deno based web framework that sends no JS to the client by default.

→ All the rendering and computation can operate on the server and the client only needs to render small islands of UI.

🔮 What is Deno ?

→ Deno is a runtime for JS created by the creator of NodeJS as a solution to a lot of the problems with the original NodeJS.

→ But this ecosystem is still under development. Fresh is just a framework built on Deno that brings Deno into the game

📐 Architecture

The whole framework works on this model :

→ Routes
→ Islands

🔮 What are Routes ?

→ Routes are the way in which your web app responds to different requests such as API requests or serving frontend changes etc.,

🔮 What are Islands ?

→ Islands are preact components that are rendered on the client side. 

→ You can serve these islands to users using routes.

→ Fresh automatically handles the updating of islands to minimize site load times

🌯 What are DAOs?

DAO - Decentralized Autonomous Organization

🔍 A group of people who agree to abide by certain rules for a common purpose. 

🔍 Those rules are written into the code of the organization via smart contracts.

🔍  DAOs operate totally online, and use blockchain technology as a ledger to record what goes on in the group, be that currency changing hands or decisions made.

🔍  Web3 advocates think DAOs are the next step in the business world, as all decisions are taken within the ORG.

🌯  How does a DAO work ?

🌌  When a DAO is first created, its rules are written into its code in the form of smart contracts programmed to run when certain actions take place. Everyone agrees to abide by the rule and if those rules are violated, its funds are locked.

🌯  Steps in Creating && Launching a DAO ?

🌌  Creating the smart contract: 

The developers of the DAO code the smart contract(s) that will dictate the rules of the group and decide on the group’s purpose.

🌌  Raising Funds :

→ DAOs run on their shared cache of currency, which has to be raised from its members. 

→ It’s here that people buy into the group if they support its mission, agreeing to purchase a certain amount of tokens in exchange for a stake.

🌌 Launch :

The DAO’s code is deployed onto the blockchain. From here on out, it can only be changed via collective voting by the stakeholders. The original developers no longer retain control of the project.

🌯  How does these DAO's make money ?

→ Through dividends from investments made by the organization
→ By the investment of others based on their business idea

Ethereum has pioneered the concept of a blockchain smart contract platform. They were designed to reduce the need for trusted intermediates between contractors, thus reducing transaction costs while also increasing transaction reliability.

Launched in 2009 by a mysterious developer known as Satoshi Nakamoto .

Bitcoin ( $BTC ) was the first and valuable cryptocurrency .

It was designed to act as money and a form of payment outside the control of any one person, group, or entity, and thus removing the need for third-party involvement in financial transactions. It is rewarded to blockchain miners for the work done to verify transactions .

📉 On July 17, 2010, BTC price jumped to $0.09 being the all time low

📈 On Nov. 10, 2021, Bitcoin reached an all-time high, $68,789 being the ATH till today ( 5th June 2022 )

⚡️Summary :

BTC was created by a anonymous person called Satoshi Nakamoto in 2009 and was designed to act as a medium of currency . It has the highest market capital in the market till now .
