The Iron Age in India commenced around 3300 BCE, preceding the earliest known instances globally by over 2,000 years. This timeline casts new light on the dating of the Vedas, suggesting they could be positioned prior to 3500 BCE. In these ancient texts, copper was simply termed "Ayas" (आयस), while iron was distinguished as "Krishna Ayas" (कृष्ण आयस) or "Shyama Ayas" (श्याम आयस), translating to "black metal" or "dark metal." As copper was known before iron, it required no additional descriptors and was often referred to simply as Ayas or Ayask in contemporary times. Thanks to @mkstalin for putting state led efforts rather than relying on Britishers established org @asigoi. All other state should take the lead and find the real 95% history hidden so far.
