10th July 1982: RMS St Helena begins sea mine clearance, using an 8-man Subsunk decompression chamber fitted to her foredeck. All outstanding sea mines are dealt with. Meanwhile, the wrecks of HMS Coventry, Ardent & Antelope are located and marked... #F82 #FalklandsWar1982
10th July 1982: HMS Hermes continues on it's high speed run for home as meanwhile, Admiral Sandy Woodward flies out on a C-130 Hercules from Stanley. #F82 #FalklandsWar1982

10th July 1982: AIR RAID WARNING RED sounds for the first time since hostilities ended, as Argentine jets approach the task force. Some of the newly arrived ships get a shock and don't detect them until the Sea Harriers race out to engage, sending them packing. #FalklandsWar1982

10th July 1982: HMS Glamorgan returns home to Portsmouth after the Falklands war with the company of United States destroyer Charles Adams saluting her in the foreground. Glamorgan was later sold to Chile in 1986 and renamed Alimirante Latorre. #FalklandsWar1982
10th July 1982: The "Penguin News" reports that the "Sir Tristram", badly damaged in the air attack by Skyhawk fighters on the 8th June at Fitzroy, was towed into Stanley Harbour today. It is thought that she might be used as a floating barracks. #FalklandsWar1982
