British Embassy in Washington sharing intelligence from a US citizen whose aircraft charter company was asked to bring ten flights worth of ammunition from Tel Aviv to Montevideo. Suspicion that Israeli arm companies are supplying Argentina.

More information from Israel which is intriguing. Israeli company Israel Aircraft Industries called the British Embassy in Tel Aviv apologising that one of their products could have damaged HMS Sheffield. They are referring to Gabriel missile.

She carried out a mortar attack on a possible submarine contact and then returned to the Sheffield, leaving the submarine to the Sea Kings and her own Wasp, which had up to then been ferrying injured men from the damaged destroyer's flight deck.

The hunt for the submarine went on for two hours, during which the Yarmouth broke off once more to add her accurate weaponry to the attack.

Also on the 4th Harriers from Hermes made an attack on Goose Green. Oerlikon AA cannon hit Lieutenant Nick Taylor's Harrier (XZ450), which burst into flames and crashed on the airfield, killing the pilot, who was buried with full military honours.
