We have done some basic intro about our report: MEV impact on Curve, eigenphi.io/report/mev-impact-on-crv. Today we'd like to dig more into the data about Liquidity Pools to answer which ones are more likely to be involved in #MEV activities. twitter.com/EigenPhi/status/1611045014607638528
It's no secret that the biggest pool on @CurveFinance in terms of trading volume: is 3pool. curve.fi/#/ethereum/pools/3pool/deposit $143.8M daily volume provides tons of opportunities for arbitrage searchers, indicating that the stablecoins have been involved significantly during arbitrages.
This chart from @21Shares on @DuneAnalytics shows the fluctuations among $DAI/$USDC/$USDT, creating arb windows all the time. dune.com/21shares_research/stablecoin-dex-liquidity-and-demand
You can also check out the #3pool's profile on our website showing arbs happening in the last 30 days: eigenphi.io/mev/ethereum/lp/0xbebc44782c7db0a1a60cb6fe97d0b483032ff1c7
Although the DAI/USDC/USDT has the biggest arb volume, the one providing the most arb txs is USDT/WBTC/WETH #curve pool. Take a look at its profile at: eigenphi.io/mev/ethereum/lp/0xd51a44d3fae010294c616388b506acda1bfaae46
You may have noticed that the profile chart above is not that blue; very much green instead. That's because it's also the most favorite pool for 🄪 attackers. Yet when switching to the chart of profit, sandwich chefs have not been very productive. eigenphi.io/mev/ethereum/lp/0xd51a44d3fae010294c616388b506acda1bfaae46
We will conclude here about liquidity pools on @CurveFinance. Of course, you can explore more about the profits of arbitrage and sandwich MEV in the report here: eigenphi.io/report/mev-impact-on-crv
