Creating a profile pic with DALL·E 2
So a lot of people ask have asked me lately: "Yo, Crypto Clown OG" where is your profile picture from? Is that an #NFT?
And I'll respond: "No, it's not an #NFT. It was generated by a new AI system called #dalle2 DALL·E 2 (openai.com/dall-e-2/) which can create realistic images and art from a description in natural language.
#dalle2 is not like a Google image search where if I enter "Crypto Clown" it returns images that have been created by a person and uploaded to the internet.
#dalle2 has been trained using enormous amounts of images from the internet and the from this training the AI is able to generate a completely original image based on your description.
Here is what #dalle2 came up with when I entered "Crypto Clown". Some interesting results, but perhaps I need to be a bit more specific.
Let's try "Degenerate cryptocurrency clown". Wow, okay getting a bit closer to what I'm after. Let's get some variations on that first image please #dalle2?
Not bad, let's explore that one step deeper.
Now I'm starting to get a bit freaked out... let's back it up for a moment.
What about if we specify a different style?
Pixel art perhaps?

Okay, the concept it very close to what I had in mind. What about if I tweak my description from "realistic" to "photo realistic"?

Welcome to the future everyone. We got robots making our cars and soon they'll be driving them for us as well - just ask @stevenmarkryan if you don't believe me.
Now we got computers doing graphic design for us. Until I got my hands on #Dalle2 I never would have believed this was a job that could be performed by AI, but now it seems like it was obviously inevitable.
Finally us humans have more time to do the important stuff like enjoying #defi on L1 meme blockchains like #dogechain and #kekchain.
