Thread on the cycle of number collecting 🧶📞 Time on the street can feel like a black box if you can't see it going anywhere. If you can identify each stage then you can see that you're moving in the right direction. #daygame #redpill #pickup THREAD 👇🏻

It's part joke, wholly truth. The cycle of number collecting goes like this: First you get no numbers. Self-explanatory. Then you get flakey numbers 🥉: We all know what they are. The girl never responds or takes hours to do so. Limply. Then ghosts 💨

Then you get sludgey numbers 🥈 This is where the girl responds... slowly. Texting her feels like walking through thick mud. These girls feel a bit difficult but they leave you enough message-breadcrumbs to motivate you into pursuing them.

This is perhaps the toughest stage to persevere through as int/adv. Beginners: they don't know any better. But you've already seen what waits for you on the other side At least with a flake, you could kind of predict it happening. With sludge, it's painful to wade through 😓

Eventually, if you stick at it, you get slutty numbers 🥇 This is the nirvana state. Most sets hook. All respond. Each lead is heading towards a date. You have a stack of leads in your phone and fairly assume one will lead to a lay. This is abundance. "Good vibes only." 🕺

In the slutty numbers phase you meet a girl and she's enthusiastic. That enthusiasm carries over to messaging. She comes out again to know more. Slutty numbers are characterised by their enthusiasm.

You want to stay in this stage for as long as you can. The problem is that once you start going on dates you have less time to generate more leads. It's a good problem to have! 😅 That means eventually you'll always be back at square one: no numbers.

Beginners spend most of their time in the first stage while enjoying brief forays into flakey and sludgey numbers 🤷🏼‍♂️ Intermediates and advanced guys can push ahead. If you see the type of number you're collecting is progressing it means you're making headway in this cycle 📈

Right now I'm in the sludgey stage. I'm getting numbers, they reply, but there is that feeling that something is missing. The uncanny valley of leads. I don't get that feeling that those trains are heading direct to lay-ville 🚂 (if they are they're taking the scenic route !)

But I know all I need to do is persevere! The key is to keep at it. Keep putting your best foot forward. Play the percentages. Apply correct Game. And all that good stuff 🤓 To recap: No numbers ➡️ Flakey numbers ➡️ Sludgey numbers ➡️ Slutty numbers
