Don't expect to be fully prepared after taking the Introduction to Football course. It only provides the bare minimum.


Communication is crucial, particularly when updating parents.

You don’t need to be the worlds expert in football. I never played and know less then most of the parents.

Plan your sessions, but remain flexible; you'll often need to adjust small details on the fly.


You don't need to countless different sessions or practices. Instead, utilize the activities that the kids enjoy the most.

You can also use the same practices but simply alter the coaching emphasis.

Concentrate on the players instead of the outcomes. Did they leave the field with smiles on their faces?
