1. CoW DAO is different than it was at launch
CoW DAO was created to support CoW Protocol, but over the past two years it has launched two more mission-aligned products: MEV Blocker (the #1 MEV protection RPC) and CoW AMM (the first MEV-capturing AMM).
Supporting 3 products behind CoW Protocol proved awkward and confusing, so we're re-emphasizing CoW DAO over CoW Protocol, and will start thinking about all CoW DAO products as a house of inter-connected and mission-aligned brands. ☂️
Not only does the new brand provide a framework to hold existing products together – it creates a flexible and cohesive identity system that anticipates possible future launches as well, while making it easier to cross-promote every brand in the family.
2. CoW DAO's promise is more relevant than ever
Users can do a lot of amazing things with crypto (even more thanks to CoW DAO innovations!) but the risk of getting rekt – from MEV, LVR, and more – is growing, not shrinking. This holds crypto back from its full potential.
Through its evolution, CoW DAO has stayed true to its original promise. And today we articulate that promise more clearly.

3. Telling our story well is more important than ever
The industry is competitive, with copycats around every corner (intents anyone?). As CoW DAO continues to grow, telling a clear, authentic, and resonant story will help generate needed awareness and salience for our products.
Importantly, we often hear that we need to be more serious in order to communicate the benefits of our seriously-innovative technology. At the same time, we know the moo is magical.
So a key design challenge for us was to develop a brand that was both playful and polished.
The new brand manages the tradeoff between play and polish well – giving clear guidelines for how to be serious and innovative, and freedom within the framework for when we want to let our hair down.
