Avalanche is becoming the best chain for GameFi, and this was confirmed with the arrival of GREE:
A game publisher that has brought huge games to mobile, such as FIFA or Assasin's Creed has now partnered with Avalanche.
But what does this mean for the ecosystem? 🧵
GREE, a big Japanese enterprise in the gaming market is now partnered with Avalanche.
It has compromised to catalyze Web3 Gaming's growth by investing in projects in the ecosystem, developing subnets and running nodes.
I don't usually talk about price action in my threads, but I would like to acknowledge that this considerably helps the long-term sustainability of $AVAX.
As most of you know, subnet development and node activity imply locking a remarkable volume of tokens for an important period of time.
Simple math: more $AVAX locked in large periods, less $AVAX that will be sold in the open market.
At this point, it is important to ask ourselves: Why will Avalanche be the #1 GameFi chain?
It is pretty obvious to me at this point that Avalanche will (inevitably) conquer the whole Web3 gaming ecosystem since it is the most efficient chain for this kind of activity.
Cheap transactions imply an affordable gaming experience that most chains cannot offer due to the nature of its consensus protocol/Sybil protection mechanism.
Fast transactions assure a smoother UX, and subnets are the best tool that dapps can use to keep being efficient.
Considering this, I would like to explain three scenarios for gaming on #Avalanche: Short term, mid-term and long-term.
1. More big companies will start partnering with Avalanche. It would not surprise me at all waking up and finding out that Avalanche has partnered with EA.
2. L2s from other big L1s will undoubtedly try to match Avalanche's technology and corp associations.
I'm 100% certain that this will happen, but I'm also 100% sure that Avalanche will be the most suitable option for both companies and users.
3. Most likely, Avalanche will start being the standard gaming chain due to the previously explained reasons.
Time will tell, but so far, gaming on Avalanche is starting to flourish at a nice pace.
