🧵 CoA has just finalised the priorities for NDCv1. Here's the outline:
NDC core values are:
- Empowering ecosystem (for people by people)
- Respected by ecosystem (fair, accountable, transparent, and reliable)
- Dedicated to ideas of decentralisation (antifragile, scalable, with collective decision making)
- Efficient operation (don’t be a burden, instead help the community to be more efficient)
- Continuous improvement via weekly iterations (plan ahead, measure results, and adjust continuously)
Key metrics to follow:
- Accounts retention after 1/2/4/8 weeks
- Account acquisition cost
- Median number of dApps used by active accounts
- Number of accounts retained, using at least 3 dApps
- Social engagement score
Based on metrics KPIs are to be designed for individual initiatives and NDC as a whole. In alignment with core values, these need to be constantly monitored and adjusted.
Priorities for the NDC are split into 3 buckets
1. Widening adoption of NEAR
This bucket has two priorities: outreach to new audiences and onboarding successful projects
2. Public goods
This bucket has two priorities: Ecosystem-wide KYC solution for payments and Wallets Support Program
3. NDC Operations
This bucket has three priorities: streamlining the operations of NDC, update the election procedure and NDC treasury management
