Are Crypto communities using Telegram to it's potential?
Let's look at a new feature recently added that will change the landscape forever.
Introducing, "Topics 2.0".
🧵 Let's dive in...
◻️ @Telegram has been notoriously painful with everything confined to one chat.
◻️ @Discord has enabled teams to create separate channels to maintain structure and organisation.
✔️ Telegrams "Topics 2.0" combines best of both worlds.
📣 Available on PC/Mac/Android/iOS
An example of this;
I have access to a public "$CAW Builders" telegram group, which contains several "Topics".
◻️ General
◻️ RAIDS
◻️ Development
◻️ Testnet Bug
◻️ Trading
◻️ Media/Memes
Each Topic will have its own separate conversation channel.
💭 How to enable Topics?
In the settings section of your group you will find "Topics" option.
Enable this to get started.
A new #General topic is always added by default, which contains service messages as well as the group’s previous message history.
Admins have the ability to rename the General topic.
From there, admins will be able to add individual topics that branch out from "General".
💬 Conclusion
A wonderful step in the right direction giving community leaders an opportunity to create, structure and order to allow for increased productivity in environments and furthermore enable users to find relevant information and discuss topics.
