Typefully is fantastic and way too cheap for what you get.
We’ve tried many alternatives at @framer but nothing beats it. If you’re still tweeting from Twitter you’re wasting time.

A quick thread on a few things that have been on my mind 🧠 lately regarding language, burnout, and community I haven't yet had a chance to write about until now. 🧵👇
🧠
The way people in the NFT space think and react is so fascinating. Many people buy into the hype, speculate on a pump, and get angry at Founders and team members when your bags aren't 10x two hours after the reveal. /2
🧠
This type of behavior is primarily unacceptable and must evolve at some point. If you behave this way, know that it is quite childish and largely irresponsible. I know we all love the term degen, and sometimes we act like one to obtain certain items. However, take a pause. /3
🧠
Many are throwing ETH (and SOL) behind some ridiculous projects in a bear market, hoping for miracles. Sure, sometimes it works. Most of the time, they aren't conviction plays, and eventually, you'll get burned for it. /4
🧠
Along that same vein, we mention the term "degen hours," which refers to being awake in the middle of the night, making NFT plays when you should be asleep. If done too often for too long, you will not just burn out, but eventually, your mental capacity will drain. /5
🧠
Our brains are not meant to run on fumes for days upon days. I know some of ya'll are super bright, but when you force yourself to absorb such high-level information quickly, it puts a mental toll on your brain and body that is very unhealthy. /6
🧠
My number one challenge to those reading this is to go one week without making degen plays and going to sleep, shutting off devices at a reasonable hour. Report back to me at the end of that week and tell me how your mental state is doing. /7
🧠🤝
My number two challenge is for you to spend this coming week building rapport with someone you admire on Twitter or in your favorite community. After seven days of building that relationship, reach out to this person to schedule a 1:1 20-minute session with them. /8
🧠🤝
If there is one thing I can impress upon you, your community is built in those 1:1 interactions. You will find so much value in getting to know people who genuinely care. /9
🧠🤝
Over the past few months, I have been doing a few random 1:1 sessions here and there. These have been some of the most useful, enjoyable, and incredible ways to build the rileybeans community, and I want you to experience this as well. Just do it right. /10
🧠🤝
Soon, I will be opening up more of these in a unique and structured way so that I reduce the chaos that is currently how my days feel. More info on this to come in the following weeks. /11
🧠
This is the first, not the most concise or noteworthy, and not the last thread I will write about the intersection of psychology and community in web3. I am no scholar and never claim to be one, but hopefully, I can continue to give out thoughts that make sense. /12
