Typefully is fantastic and way too cheap for what you get.
We’ve tried many alternatives at @framer but nothing beats it. If you’re still tweeting from Twitter you’re wasting time.

Thoughts from Ukraine. Day 628.
The world is helping us, economically as well. I think it's good and bad for Ukraine. The world should be creating an incentive for Ukraine to fight for its economy.
I read a report from representative Garcia ADDRESSING THE UKRAINE FUNDING.
🧵
> The U.S. should decouple the humanitarian aid and remove any funding that subsidizes Ukrainian government officials and workers.
I agree to this, two years in, Ukraine should be able to fund this itself. Subsidizing is bad in economy - there is no incentive to change.
> If we are to effectively support this war effort moving forward, it is my belief that America should descope its involvement to that of enabling the killing of Russians on the front lines.
This this and this. It's in the best America's interests, like containment in cold war.
There is a unique chance for America to make her enemy miserable. The USA are already taking this chance and the 2-year resistance of Ukraine (and how it happened) is an ultimate answer to the question "is it worth it for the USA?".
Yes, yes and yes, I think.
The paper also mentions that big delays in delivering arms enabled russians to build all the fortifications, therefore turning it into WW1 trench kind of warfare that is very hard to break through for both sides.
I also agree with this wholeheartedly.
This could have been easily prevented if Ukraine got supported with more equipment. Imagine Autumn 2022 - modern F-16 jets, M1 Abrams, ATACMS, HIMARS for precisely taking out logistics...
Russia could be done once and for all in Ukraine.
We have already seen that Russians stand no chance against real NATO weaponry, and Ukraine keeps on destroying hundreds of russian invaders daily using NATO tech.
The numbers are insane. Ukraine is HUMILIATING russian army.
Still, this is done at the cost of Ukrainian lives.
I wish to believe that it's only the burecracy that is keeping Ukraine from the aid it needs. Although I know it's not like that.
Sit tight and finance whatever Ukraine needs to fight russians, but in quantities just enough for Ukraine to keep fighting, not to win. That's it.
As Ukrainian, I am thankful for all the help directed at Ukraine. This helped and still helps us survive as nation.
Ukraine fights and it's not a stalemate. Somedays, Ukraine kills THOUSANDS of russians in their armed assaults. It's not a stalemate, it's exactly the opposite.
It's a very intese war, and this is exactly what I hear from all my friends fighting - at different levels of command.
Still, gains are almost impossible since russians built fortifications, and there is not enough ammo and weapons to erase them from the planet Earth.
Also, there can not be any ceasefire.
Russia simply won't agree to one. They are comfortable fighting this kind of war with their war economy. They might propose some humiliating cesefire conditions like ceding half of Ukraine to build up a platform for the next war.
History shows that any "peace deals" with russians are just an antecedent before the next war.
These are my thoughts into the void. Day by day, I try to do the best for my friends fighting russian invasion.
Small things like Starlinks, drones, radios, portable power stations are really helping them repel russian assaults.
This is enabled through crowdfunding - private donors from all over the world donate their 20$ and we convert it into tech equipment to get that edge over the russian forces.
This is our mission as Ukrainians, no matter what happens. Join us via dzygaspaw.com/support!
Thanks!
