1/ Supporting DAO communities in improving the health of their DAOs with on-chain and off-chain data. A 🧵
2/ A DAO community’s footprint spans multiple tools, both on and off-chain. We built DAO Dash to aggregate them into a single source so data analysts and researchers can derive deep insights from them.
3/ After our initial launch, we learned 3 critical lessons from our user base on the way they'd like to engage with their data:
4/ Lesson 1: Many community members are hungry for data, but do not have the technical skills (SQL, etc.) to analyze raw data on their own.
5/ Lesson 2: Adding yet-another-UI to an already-packed DAO tool stack is off-putting to many.
6/ Lesson 3: The insights community members find most useful, are not just about the DAO as a whole, but also on the smaller DAO community that they are a part of (guild, project, etc.).
7/ Those lessons have heavily shaped the newest DAO Dash feature - a Discord bot that can be queried on a multitude of DAO health insights and returns real-time results!
8/ Today, we are excited to launch the first 5 DAO health insights on the new DAO Dash bot.
9/ Insight 1: Community Health - How many new members have joined the DAO (or a role within the DAO) in the last month?
10/ Insight 2: Community Health - How active were DAO members, holding a specific role, over a specific period of time?
11/ Insight 3: Community Health - Who are the active/inactive DAO members, holding a specific role, on this channel?
12/ Insight 4: Financial Health - How were funds allocated out of a DAO/guild multisig over a specific time period?
13/ Insight 5: Governance Health - How many DAO members voted on the last N Snapshot votes?
