Ever wondered how successful entrepreneurs balance their work?

Here's the difference between "Founder Mode" and "Manager Mode" and how it changes the way you proceed with your company.

Here are some lessons on entrepreneurship from great founders, Brian Chesky and Paul Graham

***

Founder Mode is about having an active involment with the product's building and marketing, seeing each and every details of the company and make the team feel more invilved in the process.

***

Whereas, a Manager Mode is more into structure, planning, operational discipline and not owing up to key leadership tasks.

***

Paul Graham highlights that although Founder Mode is essential for driving innovation, transitioning to Manager Mode can be problematic.

Founders frequently struggle to let go of control, which may result in a disconnect from the fundamental vision of their company.

***

Brian Chesky (founder, Airbnb) in his podcast with Lenny, says that focusing on one single product at a time is important, than many unfinished products.

This helps in getting products shipped faster.

Same as Paul Graham, Brian focused on training his team so that they start owning up things and focus on their work.

***

Brian says that he focuses on product led marketing, in which, instead of marketing for brand, they focus on a product marketing and focuses on that.

This really helps in narrowing up the marketing and focus more.

***

Brian says that it is really important for all the teams to communicate with eachother to work on a single product, so that they can build a great product.
