How to do it:

→ Open Ahrefs Webmaster Tools
→ Run “Internal Link Opportunities” report
→ Filter for keywords where you rank on Page 2
→ Add exact-match anchor links from other relevant posts
→ Submit updated pages in Google Search Console

Result: No jump in 48 hrs, but it’s a long-term mover.

Tip #2 — Update Declining Pages

Why it works: Google rewards fresh, relevant content.

How to do it:

→ In Google Search Console, compare last 12 months vs. current
→ Sort by “clicks drop”
→ Pick your biggest losers
→ Update outdated stats, add missing subtopics, improve formatting
→ Republish

Result: One post jumped from #16 → #4 overnight.



Tip #3 — Don’t waste time “humanizing” AI content

TikTok claim: “Run ChatGPT text through Quillbot to beat AI detectors.”

Reality:

→ Google doesn’t penalize AI if content is helpful
→ AI detection tools don’t impact rankings
→ Output usually reads worse

Verdict: Skip it. Focus on quality.


Tip #4 — Replace Reddit threads with blog posts?

This is not a easy win now.

How to try it:

→ Find high-ranking Reddit threads in your niche via Ahrefs Site Explorer
→ Sort by organic keywords
→ Create a better, more comprehensive blog post targeting those keywords

Tip #5 — Make ChatGPT your SEO assistant

AI can’t rank pages for you, but it can speed up research and writing.

How to do it:

→ Prompt: “Act as an SEO expert. My goal: rank for [keyword]. Give me a detailed outline.”
→ Ask for headings, FAQs, and related search terms
→ Write or co-write the article using those points

Result: The only page that hit Top 10 came from this exact process.



Tip #6 — Submit new posts in Search Console

This won’t rank you instantly, but gets you indexed fast.

How to do it:

→ In GSC, open URL Inspection
→ Paste your blog post link
→ Click “Request Indexing”
→ Check back in hours, most pages index same day
