The Bardeen team has been grinding in the lab lately.

One project we have been working on is the "build-your-own classifier" (BYOC)

Using it, you can finally train AI to become your email assistant.

Get a glimpse of how it's going to help you save A LOT of time:

First, we'll select a template.

We have select the one that organizes work emails.

Provide some information, such as your name, the people you collaborate with, and the company you work for.

This will allow the AI model to prioritize emails from your colleagues.

Next, we'll provide the AI with additional criteria to classify emails as important or unimportant.

For example: work project updates would be classified as important, while newsletters would be deemed unimportant.

It won't be satisfied by simply classifying emails by their type; See how, even though we told the model to classify newsletters as unimportant, it is still going to ask you if this newsletter may be relevant because it relates to our industry.

Personalization at its finest.

Finally, Bardeen AI will scan emails and classify them using Gmail tags.

However, you can also integrate with Google Sheets, Notion, and AirTable to export emails on these platforms, making it a custom inbox!

Some websites hide information behind a mouse hover. This used to be a limitation to scraping many websites… until now.

Here's a 4-step Gmail automation you can use to receive only essential notifications. (a 🧵):

We all hate email notifications.

Our inboxes are full of promotions and social media alerts - and it usually gets messy.

When it comes to Gmail notifications, most people fall into two categories:

1. Ones that have their notifications turned off (no alerts)
2. Ones that have all notifications turned on (too many alerts)

In this thread, we will show you a third (and probably better) option, using 4-step custom automation.

Let's begin.

1. connect your Google account

Go to the Bardeen extension, click on the "more options" menu on the top right and choose "Settings".

Once you've done that, you'll see this page.

Click on "integration catalog" and choose Google mail.

Then authenticate Bardeen with Google.

2. Go to Playbooks, and click on "create playbook".

Choose Gmail, and click on "When email is received".

Click "done" and move on to the next step.

3. Hit the (+) button and choose "new condition".

on the "value to check", choose the recent trigger that was added (when email is received), then choose "body".

on the "evaluation operator", choose "contains".

then, on the "value to compare against" choose keywords that are frequently used in your business emails.

It can be "urgent", "important" or just "following up".

Alternatively, you can choose a "subject" as value, add the "<>", which is used a lot for partnerships, and add it as a condition.

Each use case is different, so you do want to research a bit on keywords that are actually being used in your conversations.

Finally, click on "done" and move to the next step.

4. Hit the (+) on the "yes" path, type "open browser notification" in the search bar, and click it.

Add a custom notification message (e.g, "you got an urgent email".

On the "with URL" section, choose "permalink".

Give this automation a name and you're good to go!

You can test this automation by sending yourself an email with one of the keywords that you added.

A notification should pop up with the direct link to it.

BONUS: add an SMS notification / Slack message with the body of the email.

This is exactly what we are going to do:

Let's say that you're a law firm and your goal is to recruit 100 new clients this year.

Therefore, you know that you need to recruit 25 clients per quarter, 8 new clients per month, and 2 new clients per week.

That is your big goal broken down into milestones.

Once you have defined your milestones, ask yourself, "How do I get there?"

It can be:

• Creating content daily
• Running paid advertising
• Direct messaging potential clients

And so on.

Action Items:

• Find your key objective indicator (KPI)
• Define weekly, broken down into daily goals that you will operate throughout the day
• Get to the action

For example, if your KPI is creating content, and you know you need to make 20 pieces of content a week to reach your client recruitment goal - then your goal should be creating four pieces of content a day).

Remember, in order to reach your yearly goal - you need to put in the work daily and be consistent.

It can be helpful to have friends or loved ones who are also working towards similar objectives, as this can make the process more enjoyable and help you stay motivated and accountable.
