It's my time to embrace a new path.
Important news for my network ๐จ, and a life update.
I'm out of Bardeen.
Actually, happened the same day as Sam Altman.
I didn't make a buzz of it.
Neither did I ran immediately into action.
Like any mayor change, I know I needed to embraced the inner journey and explore my new horizons.
How it happened wasn't ideal, and certainly leaves a lot of room for improvement.
2yrs. No stocks. No flight back home. Before my birthday. Confusing. No chance to say goodbye.
No sugarcoating, wasn't easy.
But nonetheless, this was the best profesional experience in my life.
It taught me about life, connected me with people all over the world and brought me uncountable lessons from joining as employee ยฐ12, as a growth operator, to almost 2 years leading community for a leading AI Automation company.
Time in a startup feels like dog years.
1 year counts as 7.
I joined as an exciting user and I leave as an exciting user.
And as a community builder I'm hoping I have left a mark in thousands of users who went though Bardeen's community, helping them save thousands of hours of boring work.
The role allowed me to inmerse myself in the world of AI and automation and gain skills that are valued more now than ever.
I'm greatful of everything I went thought.

It also allowed me to change many aspects in my life:
โ Became a digital nomad
โ Traveled to Austria ๐ฆ๐น , Croatia ๐ญ๐ท , Italy ๐ฎ๐น and Greece ๐ฌ๐ท to work on Bardeen offsites
โ Met incredible collegues, users and friends from all over the world ๐บ๏ธ
โ Was the latino-energy and coffee provider of the company ๐ต
โ Hiked, skied, raced, ate at great places, and lived together with the team.
This is my appreciation post for all the great moments.
Wishing the best of luck to the team๐ซถ
_ So...
The exploration journey๐ฃ
From Bardeen I learned that Automation drives most value when applied to a niche or vertical.
That the AI automation solutions are simple, plug and play.
That I enjoy talking to clients.
And feel empoyered when sharing the learnings though content.
I was scattered among multiple directions.
So I took a step back.
To think, but to also feel my next steps.
To take action with intention.
And to asess and transform my mental models.
I've explored what to build, why and to whom.
On the past weeks:
โ I've traveled Morroco and Switzerland.
โ Learning Make, Clay, Smartsuite and testing AI tools.
โ Met incredible people and reconnected with my contacts.
โ Made an Ikigan workshop for myself, read, journaled, tracked my feelings and discovered new creators.
โ Connected with communities like @Nocodeops and joined an exclusive consulting community, Landa.
โ Learned about this path of becoming an AI Automation consultant, and building uppon that space.
โ Obsessed with a new niche: VC
And took action, every day.
Until I found a direction I was more invested than others.
I was connecting with VC's, creating and supporting them on leveraging AI Automation to optimize their workflows.
Then... serendipity happened.
I reconnected with @Georgysekretayuk and @DavidZou, two likeminded, young and talented individuals who wanted me to join as advisor of their new AI Automation venture focused on guess what...
VC's.
We're collaborating now, building services for VCs to seamlessly leverage AI automation tools into their systems.
So that's what I'm up to.
You're probably thinking what comes next?
โ Obsessing with this industry, finding the use-cases to help them save time and improve their output.
โ Time to share how you can leverage AI Automation to live a more fulfilled life
โ Keeping my head up and open to opportunities.
And of course... getting some holiday times as well.
Not often a Colombian guy spends Christmas in Switzerland ๐๐ซ.
Fun fact: I've been playing roller hockey all my life, and here I place ice for the first time๐ค
Where I could use your help
๐ Intros to angels, analysts or GPs in VCs.
๐ Keep me in mind for positions in AI, No-code or impact-driven companies, in *Partnerships or Growth.*
๐ You know anyone on need or a fractional automation officer ๐
And finally, people to meet in the road.
Who to meetup in Bern ๐จ๐ญ (currently๐) and back in ๐จ๐ด.
This 6-month nomad tour is coming back home ๐จ๐ด in January.
Los veo en Bogotรก! ๐ซถ
