WHO PAYS THE PENSIONS OF TERRORISTS? YOU DO!
While Israel ๐ฎ๐ฑ responds to the brutality of the terrorists ruling Gaza Strip, let's not forget how the so-called Palestine is governed elsewhere.
They use money, even yours, to pay salaries to murderers!
A thread ๐งต
The President of the Palestinian National Authority, Mahmoud Abbas (ู ูุญูู ููุฏ ุนูุจููุงุณ), governs the West Bank. He was elected in 2005 for a four-year term that has now extended to 18 years (sic!).
He manages a budget of 4 billion dollars, 1/4 of thes ๐ฐ comes from ๐ช๐บ and ๐บ๐ธ.
Out of the ANP's overall budget, approximately 300 million dollars are spent to pay the salaries of individuals who have been arrested for committing "crimes against the occupation" ๐ช๐ฉธ, which clearly includes the murder of Israeli citizens and their families.
A figure that exceeds 30% of the total foreign aid to "Palestine" and is talked about too little.
But there are laws that speak clearly and precise tables of "rewards" given to Palestinian terrorists, who are defined - needless to say - as "martyrs."
Which laws? Law No. 14 and Law No. 19 of 2004, along with Law No. 1 of 2013.
These laws establish that fighters are considered "an integral part of the Arab-Palestinian society" and that "the financial rights of the prisoner and their family" must be guaranteed.
The following benefits are guaranteed:
- Monthly compensation during detention.
- Exemptions from education and healthcare payments for family members.
- Right to employment at an PNA institution upon release.
- Right to a higher rank at work and a higher salary.
Earn up to $2,800 per month behind bars based on sentence duration:
- Sentences up to 3 years: $400/month
- Sentences up to 15 years: $1,700/month
- Sentences up to 30 years: Over $2,800/month
There is also a grant at the end of the detention: five years of imprisonment, but less than 8 entitle to receive $3500.
Instead, for having spent 18 years in prison, but less than 21, one receives $10,000.
In 2016, Ibrahim Osama Alan and another palestinian entered the Jewish community of Beit Horon, where they stabbed two women. One of the victims, Shlomit Krigman, tragically lost her life at the age of 23.
The following day, the Fatah organization published a celebratory poster for the "brave martyr Shahid".
In the name of "Allah the Merciful and Beneficent," the family receives a lifelong financial allowance as a reward.
Following international pressure, the PNA announced the closure of the Ministry for Prisoners' Affairs in 2014. However, at the same time, a similar structure was established within the PLO, the organization for the liberation of Palestine.
Today, the payment flow continues, violating international anti-terrorism norms and donor country laws.
