Typefully is fantastic and way too cheap for what you get.
Weāve tried many alternatives at @framer but nothing beats it. If youāre still tweeting from Twitter youāre wasting time.

š¤ AI Interior Designs
š¤® Do you suck at interior design? AI got you covered
š I'm looking to get the girls' room into a magical and whimsical space. I want it to be like entering a Willy Wonka dream world
@Pinterest only took me so far
Now I'm in LALA-LAND with @midjourney
I hear you loud and clear, these are IMPOSSIBLE designs, and no builder or carpenter would ever want to contract to create these
Does that matter?
Actually, NO
@pinterest only took me so far, why?
Because there are mainly things that CAN be done on there, not /imagined
I felt limited in looking at posts on Pinterest...
Because it was all the same, things that could be built/bought/hacked from IKEA furniture, and little to no imagination
Then I felt the urge to try and see if @midjourney could come to the rescue
Oohh my ohhh my did it come to my rescue
It was a "shut up and take my money" moment, I wanted whimsical and I got improbable and very whimsical, this was exactly where I wanted to go with this.
I tried different re-runs of the same prompt (hidden in the image alt tag due to length)
Looking at corners of the room, furniture to the room, items for the room etc.
I was not let down by the magical AI, I was fired up.
I've kept a close eye on @levelsio and his work with interiorai.com and it's a great tool and deserves the hype
However, it felt a bit limiting in what I wanted to explore
I wanted to make completely mad outputs, like this window.
These rooms and spaces oscillate between completely cray and more manageable. Let's get to some prompting.
I'm using a lot of keywords to get these results:
š¬ Home design, Kids Room, Interior Design in the style of a Geometric, Polymorph, Cutest vibe, Colorful, Magical, Whimsical, Surreal, Fantasy, Detailed, Complex, Big windows
Can steer it by adding/removing words
You can also play with colors, like putting purple into the array of keywords, and giving it emphasis using the "::4" annotation
I'm mad over these windows, if we build a house, I want windows like these. And that yellow structure behind the bed? I mean who would not want to crawl inside and play in that?
Okay, so got a bit carried away with all this, so asked for our living room to be in the same style, and it just gave me more INSANE windows, I mean how will I ever be able to sleep after this?
I'm floored.
Asked for more subtle windows, and it did this, there is NOTHING subtle about these windows
If you want subtle, search "minimal Scandinavian house" on Pinterest, and you'll see subtle. This is the stark opposite
I explored different ceiling heights, again using just keyword adjustments
medium ceiling height, for example here, with emphasis on blue as color.
It just keeps producing windows to die for.
Tried to get slightly more clean looking rooms, with octagonal windows (since re-modeling the room equals putting in new windows)
Joke a side, these rooms feels more teenager perhaps than kids.
I got another teenage room here, feels like a mix of a cathedral and candy land, and the irregular circles on the floor is š
Looking at doable remodels, this is one of the actual generations that stood out, similar windows that we have, and basically, a funny-shaped bed, painted in the most candy-esque colors.
The pink-on-green rug is also a nice touch and plays nicely with the circular bed void
If we look at a set of darker colors, the mood changes completely, and I'm not sure this is what I'm going for
Still interesting to see how the AI interprets the style with darker vibes.
This is just š¤¤
The bed could be a portal into the next room even
Tried to make use of clay, and earth tones, and it made these. I mean they are wonderful, more toned back but still all the whimsicalness I can barely imagine.
Made this tentacle/blob room with rugs cut to strange shapes, while its hard to imagine how a bed would look in this room, I liked the duo/tone look.
Back to more doable outputs, love this, the nook, the thick fabric hanging inside the nook, and the ornaments on the wall, colors scheme could be different. But still OK.
Okay let's end with some sensory overload
Overload 1
Overload 2
Overload 3
Overload 4
Okay, that's it, thank you for going on this trippy journey with me, and I'll keep you posted on how we progress with the girls' bedroom.
I'm exhausted by all the options and crazy imaginations
