Typefully is fantastic and way too cheap for what you get.
We’ve tried many alternatives at @framer but nothing beats it. If you’re still tweeting from Twitter you’re wasting time.

1/ What's new in #DeFi?
Every month I follow the money to find out.
Unfortunately, the last two months were the worst for crypto fundraising in two years.
But these top 5 DeFi projects managed to pull it off 🧵
2/ @WuBlockchain reported that there were 50 public raises in October, down 68% compared to the same period last year.
Web3 and Infrastructure fields saw the most deals with #DeFi accounting for only 9 of the deals.
3/ Just last month I wrote that November was the toughest for crypto fundraising in two years - and December was even worse.
Total amount raised was only $660M, down 21.5% compared to November.
With money being tight, projects are having a hard time raising cash.

4/ That's why it makes sense to follow early stage projects closely.
Early stage projects that raise during bear markets have a good chance to come out strong into the bull run.
You can find the full list of Top 35 DeFi token raises at ignasdefi.notion.site/
5/
1️⃣ @Panoptic_xyz is building a perpetual, oracle-free options that never expire.
It will allow deploying an options market on any asset in a permissionless manner.
And users will be able to lend their capital to options traders as a liquidity provider to earn yield.
6/ Options are probably the most complicated sector of #DeFi, and Panoptic is no exception.
But even retail users can trade options, or join option vaults - strategies for bearish, bullish or delta-neutral positions.
Team raised $4.5M from Uniswap, Coinbase, Gumi and Avalanche.
7/
2️⃣ @perenniallabs is a cash-settled leverage trading protocol.
Cash-settled since all trades are settled in $USDC
It promises trading with no price slippage, no MEV and low tx fees.
Team raised $12M from Polygon, Polychain, Variant, Coinbase, Robot Ventures...

3️⃣ @PodsFinance is building easy to use structured strategies.
Currently the featured stETHvv strategy allows to accumulate more $ETH through volatility without risking your capital.
If the strategy had been available since 2015, it would've generated 2x amount of ETH.
9/ The stETHvv strategy relies on Lido for the base yield and uses part of the yield to set up a 'strangle' weekly.
A 'strangle' benefits from ETH's volatility, regardless of the price direction by using call and put options.
Raised $5.6M from IOSG, Republic, Framework, 4RC...
10/
4️⃣ @concordexlabs raised $1.7M to build derivatives DEX on the Concordium blockchain.
@ConcordiumNet itself raised funds 2 years ago at a $1.5B valuation and now is trading at $47M.
Alt L1 narrative may be dead, but I’ll keep an eye on it due to investment in the ecosystem.
11/
5️⃣ Another controversial pick: @liqwidfinance liquid $ADA staking & lending protocol.
3 reasons I'm keeping an eye on it:
• Cardano DeFi is slow, but liquid staking & lending could work
• Strong $ADA community
• Animoca and Altonomy among investors behind $2.7M raise
12/ Keep in mind that these projects don't have a token yet, so they may reward you with an airdrop if you try them out.
Once again, you can find all the seed round projects I'm following at ignasdefi.notion.site/
